Research Fellow In One Health, Doherty Institute, Nossal Institute

JP Villanueva‐Cabezas is an epidemiologist with a background in veterinary medicine. JP contributes to the emerging One Health focus of the Doherty and Nossal Institutes by engaging in collaborative research projects focused on low- and middle-income countries. JP has been actively involved in national and international responses to pandemic events of animals and humans, working in collaboration with local government and international agencies. JP is actively involved in One Health curriculum development and instruction at the University of Melbourne and the Asia-Pacific region and frequently engages with audiences beyond academia.
